Seorang ibu nekat menabrakkan dirinya ke kendaraan yang lalu lalang di jalan, untung saja keluarganya berhasil mencegah kejadian yang bakal mengenaskan. Ibu ini kecewa, sidang untuk membela hak anaknya yang sudah tewas dianiaya oleh suaminya, ditunda.
Mungkin saja alasan ditunda itu benar, tetapi siapa yang bisa meyakinkan bahwa alasan itu dibuat-buat?
Perangkat hukum di Indonesia saat ini mungkin sudah kebanyakan perkara. Kasus kasus malah dibisniskan siapa yang bisa memberi ‘pelicin’ yang paling banyak dia lah yang menang. Belum lagi disetiap prosedur tidak ada lagi istilah melaksanakan tugas, semuanya berpamrih.. uang
Tak disangkal, kadang perkara pun lambat prosesnya, seakan mereka tidak ingin melepaskan mesin atm yang sudah ada dalam kekuasaan mereka.
Miris..
Saya jadi berpikir, perlindungan hukum apa yang kita peroleh dari negara kita. Kita malah merasa tidak aman, bahkan dijajah oleh bangsa sendiri, oknum oknum yang menggunakan kekuasaan dan kewenangan, yang seharusnya dipergunakan untuk menegakkan keadilan.
Adil, masih adakah di bumi Indonesia? Semuanya bermuara uang, semuanya bermuara materi.
Mungkin karena semua berpikir instan, apa yang bisa diperoleh untuk tenaga yang digunakan, lupa bahwa tenaga tersebut sudah dibayarkan oleh negara. Lupa bahwa semuanya akan dipertanggungjawabkan di hari kemudian.
Lalu jika begini keadaannya, kepada siapa lagi kita meminta. Ukuran kejahatan tidak sesuai proporsi lagi, pencuri ayam bisa lebih lama mendekam di penjara daripada para koruptor yang nyata-nyata merugikan bangsa.
Kepada siapa lagi kita meminta keadilan?
