“Ini masih kurang Surat Kuasanya”, jawab ibu yang mengenakan batik di balik counter tepat dimana saya berdiri.

“Tapi bu, dilist nya tidak tertera”, jawabku tidak mau kalah,

“Oh iyah, itu tidak tertera”, dengan santainya dia mengambil kertas yang berisi daftar dokumen di tanganku kemudian menambahkan tulisan yang besar, Surat Kuasa

Tidak ada gerak lain selain mengurut dada, saya sudah terbiasa menghadapi ini. Berurusan dengan bagian pelayanan di pemerintahan memang harus memiliki kesabaran ekstra. Kadang harus bolak-balik beberapa kali dalam sehari hanya untuk kelengkapan dokumen dalam mengurus izin atau semacamnya.

Matahari pagi memang awalnya membakar semangat saya, tetapi seperti disiram air hujan, panasnya menguap entah kemana. Menghadapi “kegagalan” di pagi hari sangat tidak menyenangkan.

Ah untung masih ada waktu, semoga bisa tetap selesai hari ini, pikirku. Saya butuh sesuatu untuk menyulut semangat kembali. Dengan   taxi saya menyusuri jalan ibu kota yang mulai padat. Saya harus naik motor saja sebentar, pikirku.

Di  kantor teman-teman sibuk dengan urusannya dan saya bergegas membuat surat kuasa keramat untuk bisa kembali lagi menyerahkan bersama dokumen-dokumen lain untuk kepentingan perizinan. Sayangnya, sudah jam 12, pasti counter  pelayanannya tutup lagi karena istirahat. Daripada saya tegang sendiri, akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk makan siang dengan santai.

“Simpan aja bu, itu buat ibu bawa pulang”, sepertinya ini shock yang kedua dalam sehari yang saya alami. Surat Kuasa yang DIWAJIBKAN si ibu tadi pagi rupanya tidak dianggap penting oleh Bapak berperawakan tinggi ini.

“Mana ibu  yang tadi pak, saya kan sudah balik ke kantor untuk bikin surat ini? Mana… Mana????”

Itu kalimat dalam hati saja sebenarnya, yang keluar malah senyum manis untuk si Bapak dan ucapan terimakasih yang syahdu

Mungkin teman-teman juga sering mendapatkan pengalaman seperti saya, walaupun tidak persis sama. Kalau boleh saya simpulkan kita ini banyak menyia-nyiakan waktu, tidak efektif dan efisien. Penggunaan BBM pasti tidak meningkat dengan sendirinya, jika saya bisa dibantu menyelesaikan pekerjaan pelayanan dengan sederhana. Jauh yah mikirnya…

Pelayanan jika dilakukan sebagai “pekerjaan” pasti akan setengah-setengah. Seharusnya murni dari hati, niat membantu. Mungkin mereka hanya tidak menyadari saja kesempatan berbuat amal dengan membantu orang lain, mereka menyia-nyiakan kesempatan…
