Drama Cumi di pulau Samalona

Drama memang sebaiknya ada biar berkesan, tetapi kebanyakan drama bikin kita tidak berkembang

 

Karena merasa sudah lama tidak menyentuh air laut dan berayun atasnya, sehabis lebaran haji kemarin,  saya mengajak keluarga untuk ke pulau kecintaan, Samalona. Pulau yang terletak di bagian barat kota Makassar yang biasanya ditempuh dengan menggunakan kapal motor kayu.

Melihat air jernih yang terang benderang memantulkan cahaya matahari rasanya melegakan perasaan sampai ke dasarnya. Air laut musim kemarau rupanya dingin, padahal jam sudah menunjukkan pukul 10 pagi.

Seperti biasa begitu tiba di pulau kami mencari tempat untuk bisa beristirahat atau sekadar meletakkan barang-barang sebelum berenang. Biasanya yang masyarakat banyak yang menyambut. Mereka menawarkan bale bale bambu, rumah untuk disewa, perlengkapan snokling dan bahkan menawarkan ikan yang memang dipelihara di keramba.

“Mau beli cumi bu?”, kata seorang ibu setengah umur memakai daster dengan badan yang agak kurus

Mungkin dia melihat saya menyerah mencari ikan yang tidak ada jenis lain selain baronang dan anak ikan hiu yang harusnya dilarang dikonsumsi.

“Boleh, berapa harganya?”,

“Seratus ribu, 3 ekor”, saya melihat cumi berukuran sedang dan langsung saat itu terbayang cumi bakar yang berwarna hitam karena tintanya. Saya berusaha menawar, namanya saja ibu-ibu kurang afdhol rasanya tanpa menawar.

“Minta 4 aja bu, seratus ribu” dalam bahasa makassar yang terbata-bata saya berusaha menawar.

“Minyaknya mahal, nda bisa kurang lagi”.

“Paslah saya kan mau dibakar saja jadi minta 4 ya gak usah pakai minyak”, saya tetap memakai akal untuk menawar

“Gak bisa, gak dapat harga segitu,” kata ibu yang akhirnya saya tahu bernama Daeng Te’ne

“Gitu saja bu, saya bakar sekarang dari pada tinggal cuminya”

“Oh gak bisa, nanti juga banyak yang mau beli” . Kalimat Daeng Te’ne ini betul-betul membuat saya patah arang.  Yah sudahlah, saya tidak memiliki perasaan bersalah lagi sudah menawar. Apalagi lauk cumi sebenarnya cuma sebagai pelengkap. Kakak dan ponakan semuanya bawa makanan. Saya meninggalkan daeng Te’ne dan akhirnya berenang menikmati laut yang biru terang.

Cucu keponakan yang  belum berusia setahun menjadi penyegar suasana. Apalagi ibunya mengaku ini kali pertamanya dia ke pulau Samalona. Wah.. sayang sekali 😀

Setelah memuaskan kulit ini disentuh oleh air laut saya akhirnya merasa lapar. Begitu tiba di balai-balai saya sudah langsung kepikiran makanan. Hmm.. lapar karena bermain air itu lumrah, sibuklah saya bergerilya membuka tempat makan yang ada. Ada gogos dan daging toppalada ada serundeng juga, rasanya lengkap saya pun makan dengan lahap.

“Ini sudah dibakar cuminya,” dua orang pria yang berbadan tinggi berkaos oblong datang menghampiri kami. Saya jelas terheran-heran. Perasaan saya tidak jadi memesan cumi ini, kok yah tiba-tiba ada yang datang dan bilang itu pesanan kami. Dan kalau daeng Te’ne yang berubah tiba tiba jadi laki laki ini saya pasti lebih heran lagi.

Dan memang benar ternyata, ini siasat daeng Te’ne langsung memberikan cumi tanpa berani bertemu dengan kami, langsung menodong ceritanya. Oh jangan dulu. Saya bukan orang yang cerewet tapi untuk pemperjelas sesuatu itu bagian saya. Saya akhirnya meminta para pria pembakar cumi itu untuk memanggil daeng Te’ne. Akhirnya dia datang dan tidak bisa berkata apa-apa karena saya ada. Dia sudah menyampaikan ke kakak ipar saya bahwa dia sudah berbicara dengan saya saat saya berenang. Ini tidak benar!

Saya ngotot berkata tidak dan saya marah kepada ibu ini, yang pertama dia arogan, penjual kok arogan yang kedua dia berbohong mengatas namakan saya kemudian berbicara dengan kakak ipar saya, yang ketiga dia seakan menodong untuk kita terpaksa membeli cumi itu.

Kasihan cuminya, akhirnya saya bilang sudah, biar saya bawa pulang saja toh kami kami sudah makan tetapi sebelumnya saya sudah berceramah panjang ke daeng Te’ne. Eh bukannya selesai dia malah bilang, ya sudah gak usah dibeli gak akan jadi rejeki yang baik. Astaghfirullah.. harusnya dipikir sebelum dia melakukan hal hal yang tricky itu. Ya sudah saya pun tidak mau menahan. Saya hanya berharap semoga menjadi pelajaran.
