Renungan

Saya berpikir dalam, membayangkan bagaimana seandainya dunia kiamat? Semua orang berebutan untuk bisa selamat, sampai tidak peduli dengan yang lain. Sama seperti berebutan naik ke commuter line, bahkan malaikat yang mau turun saja kita sikut. Mungkin saja…

Pikiran yang didasari oleh ketidak mengertian. Seberapa penting kursi kosong di kereta api bekas hibahan negeri sakura ini. Mungkin karena made in Japan yang lebih empuk dari pada buatan negeri sendiri. Sangat berbeda dengan negeri asalnya. Kursi yang seharusnya pensiun, bahkan menjadi rebutan. Di sana bahkan orang segan untuk duduk sementara masih ada orang yang membutuhkan dan mereka masih berdiri.

Tutup mata, berpura-pura tidur, itu salah satu trik untuk menghilangkan kesadaran dengan sengaja supaya tempat duduk yang sudah pas nyamannya di pantat ini tidak beralih ke orang lain.

Menutup mata, mungkin itu cerminan bahwa kita dengan sengaja menutup hati kita dengan keadaan sekitar. Banyak yang lebih membutuhkan dari kita tetapi kita tetap merasa kita yang lebih butuh.

Padahal, kadang kita butuh doa dari orang yang kita beri tempat duduk. Lebih butuh doa daripada tempat duduk. Tetapi, kota besar mengacaukan pikiran kita. Lupa dengan kesadaran apa yang kita butuhkan. Hidup keras membuat sikap empathy berkurang bahkan hilang sama sekali.

Jarang kita dapatkan lagi gentleman yang memberikan ruang duduk kepada wanita, bahkan wanita tua sekalipun. Mungkin dia merasakan bahwa dia lebih wanita dan lebih tua dari orang-orang yang ada di kereta itu.

Saya selalu berusaha sabar, tidak ikut dengan mengeraskan body saat naik atau turun. Berharap fleksibilitas saya bisa membuat orang yang kasar bisa mendapat ruang. Tapi tetap saja berasa sakitnya kena lutut atau sikut. Mungkin saya harus pakai baju bantal saja.

Hidup di Jakarta memang keras, tetapi itu yang membuat orang menjadi tegar, seperti batu. Sayangya transformasi ke batu ini kadang tak bisa dikendalikan, tak bisa terhenti hingga sampai ke hati.
