Menghindari Kanker Serviks

Baru baru ini diundang untuk acara seminar mengenai kanker serviks. Awalnya saya tidak terlalu berminat, saya selalu takut jika berbicara tentang penyakit. Saking takutnya kadang disuruh ke dokter saja saya gak mau, alasannya takut ketahuan sakitnya yang kemungkinan berat.

Jika keluhan mulai muncul saya akan memulai mencari obat-obatan herbal yang menurut saya lebih masuk akal dari pada obat dokter.

Tapi karena memang sudah ditakdirkan untuk duduk dan mendengar di depan seorang pria yang merupakan volenteer dari Yayasan Peduli Kanker Indonesia, saya terima saja. Meskipun awalnya merasa agak aneh mendengar seorang pria yang menjelaskan tentang organ intim wanita, tetapi karena dijelaskan secara keilmuan akhirnya perasaan anehnya hilang.

Kanker rupanya butuh waktu lama untuk bisa menjadi parah, masalahnya kadang kita tidak menyadari bahwa sebenarnya bibit kanker sudah ada pada tubuh kita. Khususnya kanker serviks, dianjurkan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan pap smear setiap 6 bulan sekali, untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya bibit kanker di mulut rahim.

Jika sudah terasa keluhannya biasanya itu sudah pada tingkat kronis, dan susah untuk diobati. Ngeri bukan.

Selain itu, dari informasi yang dibagikan oleh YPKI, selain kita mengenali penyakit ini kita harus mengetahui cara menghindarinya. Saya sudah berselancar juga di internet, tetapi penjelasan penjelasan justru membuat saya ngeri dan penuh dengan istilah-istilah medis yang kurang saya mengerti.

Sederhananya ada beberapa hal yang harus kita lakukan di setiap hari untuk dijadikan kebiasaan agar terhindar dari kanker ini, insha Allah.

Membersihkan alat vital sebelum berhubungan badan

Keringat yang ada pada daerah intim bisa membuat kuman, virus dan bakteri semacamnya betah dan berkembang  biak. Tujuan membersihkan alat vital sebelum berhubungan agar tidak sampai ikutan masuk dalam liang vagina dan malah mendapatkan tempat yang nyaman di mulut rahim.

Menggunakan celana dalam yang bukan sintetis

Maksudnya agar daerah V tidak berkeringat dan lembab, jika pun iya harusnya kita menggunakan pakaian dalam yang menyerap keringat. Daerah V sebaiknya diberi ruang untuk bernafas juga, sehingga penggunaan celana ketat juga dihindari. Bahkan dianjurkan sesekali untuk tidak mengenakan celana dalam di saat saat tertentu.

Menggunakan pembalut yang benar

Rupanya pembalut yang benar adalah kain. Dahulu para orang tua kita pasti menggunakannya. Tetapi karena zaman semakin instant, penggunaan pembalut yang mengandung bahan kimia tidak bisa kita hindari lagi. Untuk itu pandai pandai memilih produknya. Gunakan pembalut yang berbahan dasar herbal. Agak mahal tetapi akan lebih aman untuk tubuh. Jika pun sedang haid usahakan selalu mengganti pembalut, jangan dibiarkan keadaannya lembab.

Bersih saat di toilet

Pastikan alat-alat yang digunakan di toilet higienis, jika tidak kita perlu menggunakan pembersih vagina yang ber pH seimbang, sehingga kuman tidak akan betah di daerah vagina.

Selebihnya, makanan yang baik dan olah raga yang rutin.

Beberapa hal sederhana di atas semoga bisa membantu kita menghindari benih-benih kanker yang sudah bertebaran bebas di sekitar kita. Mari cegah diri dari penyakit dengan hidup bersih dan sehat. Semoga kita semua terhindar dari penyakit ini. Aamiinn.
