Belajar Dari Rasa
Saya tiba tiba saja menitikkan air mata. Bukan karena sakit yang saya rasakan beberapa hari ini. Bukan karena saya tidak memiliki orang lain yang membantu saya menghadapi kondisi kurang sehat ini. Tetapi saya tiba-tiba berpikir, bagaimana orang-orang tua yang terabaikan di saat mereka sudah menapaki usia tak berdaya.
Di saat sendiri, saya harus merasakan beratnya jika sakit tanpa ada orang lain mendampingi. Selain psikis, yang kata ahli, pelukan itu menyembuhkan. Saya juga harus berusaha sendiri, berpikir apa yg terbaik agar diri ini sehat kembali. Dengan kondisi yang kurang fit kadang usaha itu tidak maksimal. Makanan, obat, ke dokter dan sebagainya.
Lalu, bagaimana dengan orang tua orang tua kita? atau orang tua orang tua yang sekarang ada di panti werdha, bagaimana perasaan mereka? Apakah kita terpikir dengan keadaannya jika seperti saya sekarang ini? Saya merasakannya. Haus akan kasih sayang dimana anak-anak yang mereka besarkan malah sibuk dengan kehidupannya sendiri sendiri. Tidak ada yang mendampingi, walaupun ada yang mengerti tapi tidak juga bisa berbuat banyak.
Terpikir kesenangan apa yang bisa menghibur mereka? Mungkin hanya pikiran positif “yang penting anak anakku bahagia”, iyah itu jika mereka punya keluarga, bagaimana jika tidak? 🙁
Setiap rasa sakit datang baik fisik maupun hati semua saya akan terima. Bukan karena merasa kuat atau tegar. Tetapi saya yakin ada pesan yang pasti akan menyusul. Seperti saat ini.
Saya diberikan kesempatan untuk merasakan “kesendirian” para orang tua kita. Dan semoga ini membuat saya lebih memperhatikan dan menyayangi mereka.
Dan saya kembali menitikkan air mata ketika maulana Jihad-ku menelpon dan menyampaikan “ummi, cepat sembuh yah, ada ummi dalam doa saya, setiap saat”
