Masuk rumah sakit bukan pengalaman pertama, tetapi tetap saja ada ketakutan. “Aku takut disuntik”, kataku kepada kakakku yang menyuruh aku untuk masuk ke rumah sakit saja. “Segede itu, masih juga takut?”. Iyah juga sih, harusnya pengalaman operasi caesar 3x sudah bisa jadi bekal untuk tidak takut lagi. Disamping itu sakit perut yang sudah tak tertahankan gak bisa ditunda-tunda. Segera aku menelpon kak husba untuk memberitahukan keinginanku untuk opname di rumah sakit. “Ke UGD aja langsung mbak lily, nanti mbak Ita nelpon ke Akademis”.
Gak sabar aku menunggu pace yang berniat mengantarku. Aku sebenarnya bukan orang yang suka ngotot, tetapi rasa sakit ini sudah gak bisa aku tahan lagi. “Pace, dimana?”. “Tunggu, dikit lagi sampai”.
Akhirnya dengan naik mobil Eman, rekanan pace aku diantar ke rumah sakit Akademis. Maklum si hitam belum keluar dari bengkel, masih saja berdandan. “Sudah telpon endy?”, tanya pace. Oh iyah lupa, segera aku menelpon sambil masih menahan sakit. “Endy, lagi dimana?”. “Eh mamie, di akademis”. Wah kebetulan sekali jadinya. Akhirnya aku menjelaskan rencanaku untuk di opname. Sebagai seorang dokter endy pasti bisa membantu.
Begitu tiba, seorang suster keluar dari ruang UGD. “Ada yang sakit?”. Aku cuma menunjuk diriku dan berjalan tertatih-tatih karena rasa sakit yang masih mendera. Rasa sakit yang serasa menembus hingga ke punggung.
Gak lama setelah aku berbaring, aku segera menelpon dr endy, memberitahukan bahwa aku sudah di UGD. Beberapa saat kemudian dia datang dan bilang ke suster. “Diketeter aja pasiennya”. Hah!! Dasar endy, masih juga main padahal badanku dah mementuk huruf O gara2 kesakitan.
Eh, tapi mungkin itu salah satu cara untuk menghibur pasien yah? Hmm kalo mau dihibur sama dokter endy sih mending ngajak dia ke karaoke.. 😛
Setelah diinterogasi sama dokter endy, dimulailah prosesi yang aku amat takuti, pasang infus dan ambil sample darah. “Sus, ajak cerita dong, biar aku gak rasa sakit”, kataku memelas pada suster yang siap-siap menusukkan jarum infusnya ke tanganku. “Iyah”, katanya ramah. “Bisa gak diinfus yah sus, minumku banyak kok”, masih aja aku berusaha membujuk sekedar untuk menghindarkan jarum itu tertancap di tubuhku. “Sebaiknya diinfus, supaya masuknya cairan dapat dijamin”. Wah… Gagal. Akhirnya dengan pasrah aku membiarkan diriku di “kerjai” dengan sedikit meringis ketika jarum itu mulai tertancap di arteriku.
Setelah dokter endy membantuku, menyusul kemudian dokter jaga datang dan bertanya mengenai keluhanku. Aku menjelaskan sedetail-detailnya. Takut, bisa jadi salah informasi salah diagnosa. Salah diagnosa salah treatment… Hehehe bisa “lewat” deh.
Ngomong soal “lewat”, aku sempat kaget. Beberapa orang tiba2 masuk ke ruangan UGD saat itu sambil menggendong seorang cewek.
Keingintahuanku timbul, minimal hal ini bisa sedikit mengalihkan aku dari rasa sakit yang masih saja betah bersamaku.
“Kenapa ini?, dipotong sendiri yah?”, tanya suster yg sudah berada dalam bilik yg cuma dilapisi gorden. Astaga!!! Cewek itu rupanya mencoba mengakhiri hidupnya dengan mengiris pergelangan tangannya. Hhh…
Sungguh ironis. Aku yang karena pengen sembuh, pengen melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatanku bela-belain mengabaikan rasa takutku ke rumah sakit. Sementara ada orang lain yang dengan sengaja menginginkan untuk tidak punya kesempatan lagi dalam hidupnya. Aku yakin dia pasti mengalami kekecewaan yang sangat sehingga tidak dapat melihat lagi sisi baik dari hidup.
Hidup ini indah, pastilah itu. Cuman kadang kita dibutakan oleh hal-hal kecil yang membuat kita kecewa sehingga tidak bisa melihat masih ada yang indah di balik itu.
Sakit badaniah yang aku rasakan pasti punya hikmah. Perasaan hancur juga pasti ada hikmahnya. Patutkah kita mengakhiri hidup ini karena itu? Padahal mungkin sebentar, besok, atau lusa hikmah itu baru menampakkan dirinya. Semoga ini menjadi pelajaran buatku untuk lebih menghargai hidupku.
