Seberapa banyak sih kepedulian kita dengan keselamatan kita bersama?
Dalam perjalan menuju ke Jogja baru-baru ini, saya jadinya harus mengomel dalam hati melihat seorang ibu yang sudah di atas lima puluh tahunan tetapi mungkin baru senang senangnya menggunakan gadget. Saat penerbangan di atas pesawat, mungkin karena bosan dia mengambil telepon pintarnya. Saya tepat duduk di bagian belakang sisi kanannya. Saya mulai berpikir, menyalakan telepon genggam pada saat pesawat mengudara mungkin akan memancarkan signal. Semoga bisa langsung dia mengubah ke mode pesawat. Tapi dugaan saya salah. Saya masih saja kepo dengan memperhatikan setiap gerak geriknya, dan benar saja, notifikasi WhatsApp di baris paling atas handphone-nya mulai mengganggu saya. Saya tidak menegur karena tidak berapa lama pilot sudah mengumumkan untuk persiapan mendarat, handphone dimatikan kembali.
Di posisi tempat duduk yang sama, karena saya memang suka memilih untuk duduk di lorong, pada saat penerbangan pulang ke Jakarta, seorang anak gadis juga mengganggu konsentrasi saya. Dia asik mengetik di handphonenya, sepertinya dia tidak sedang menulis catatan atau semacamnya, tapi dia chating! Minta ampun gondoknya saya, saya melihat ke dia terus sampai dia mungkin menyadari bahwa dari tadi saya memperhatikannya. Pelan-pelan dia menyimpan handphonenya dan memandang ke depan dengan sesekali melirik ke arah saya. Tenang, adik masih dalam pengawasan saya
Mengapa Harus Mematikan Handphone
Seharusnya kita menyadari betapa pentingnya penggunaan handphone ini saat kita memilih pesawat terbang sebagai alat transportasi kita. Saat boarding, kita sudah mendengarkan pengumuman untuk segera mematikan telepon genggam, begitu pun saat di pesawat. Para pramugari tidak henti-hentinya menyampaikan tentang peringatan ini. Bahkan di depan kursi duduk pun, larangan mengaktifkan telpon genggam juga sudah diancam dengan hukuman dan denda yang tidak sedikit.
Pesawat udara menggunakan peralatan elektronik. Peralatan ini menggunakan gelombang radio atau gelombang elektromagnetik pada saat dioperasikan. Untuk menjalankan berbagai tugas dan fungsi, berkomunikasi dengan menara kontrol, untuk navigasi pesawat dan pengaturan udara didalam kabin. Jika terjadi kesalahan dalam pengoperasian akibatnya bisa sangat fatal. Fatal karena bisa terjadi kecelakaan yang mengakibatkan para penumpang dan awak kabin bisa kehilangan nyawa. Jika disederhanakan bahasanya, signal handphone kita bisa membunuh orang!
Lalu mengapa orang seakan sangat susah untuk meluangkan sedikit waktunya agar dapat mengikuti aturan yang sudah ditetapkan ini?
Ketidaksabaran
Dari pada mencari ilmu sabar di tempat-tempat terpencil, belajar bersabar untuk tidak menyalakan telpon saat akan menaiki pesawat dan turun dari pesawat sudah cukup. Bayangkan saja, belum juga pesawat berhenti sempurna, di sekeliling kita sudah terdengar opening tone dari berbagai merk handphone. Belum lagi jika ternyata harus menunggu lama untuk garbarata atau tangga merapat ke badan pesawat.
Mungkin agak lebih mudah jika seperti saya karena tidak terlalu kuatir dengan siapa yang menjemput, apakah sudah tiba di bandara atau belum. Kebanyakan memang tujuannya memberi kabar atau mengirim informasi mengenai kedatangan.
Padahal di apron, komunikasi masih di lakukan. Antara pilot pesawat lain dengan menara kontrol. Mungkin memang tidak terlalu terpengaruh jika cuma seorang saja yang teledor menyalakan handphone tetapi jika semua orang bersamaan dalam suatu waktu dijamin pasti sangat mengganggu jaringan komunikasi.
Peduli kepada orang lain
Telepon pintar memang membuat kita seakan tidak berada dalam dunia nyata. Secara tidak sengaja kita malah mengabaikan orang yang benar-benar ada di sekitar kita. Lebih mementingkan orang yang tidak sedang berada di pesawat, padahal pesawat bisa ada apa-apanya jika kita mengabaikan perintah larangan ini.
Kesadaran dan kepedulian kita memang masih sangat rendah. Jika sudah kejadian biasanya baru saling menyalahkan, dan menyesal.
Saya tidak keberatan menegur orang yang memang bisa membahayakan keselamatan orang lain. Anggaplah kepo, tetapi yang khilaf harus disadarkan jika kita tidak saling peduli, jangan berharap kita bisa sama sama memperbaiki diri.
Duh mam saya juga suka maen hp kalo di pesawat, tapi flight mode kok, itu juga kalau sdh gak ada lagi yg bisa di baca dari inflight magazine atau buku bawaan lebih sering sih tidur aja lah
