Tanggal 21 Agustus 2010 kemarin, Komunitas LUGU Makassar mensupport orientasi pengenalan Medical Linux di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Hasanuddin, Makassar
Pesertanya merupakan mahasiswa baru fakultas kedokteran angkatan 2010. Acara tersebut dimulai agak mundur dari jadwal yang direncanakan dikarenakan adanya kendala fasilitas pada ruangan yang digunakan.
Materi yang dipresentasikan adalah:
Pengenalan Linux – Arman Idris
Pengenalan Medical Linux – Asri Rachman
Pengenalan Aplikasi yang ada pada Medical Linux – M. Resha
Open Office – Mamie Lily (its me)

Acara juga didukung oleh beberapa pihak rekanan yaitu Telkom Speedy, Ariel Computer dan Indosat
Secara keseluruhan acara berjalan lancar, walaupun terlihat ada beberapa mahasiswa yang agak kelelahan, mungkin bertepatan dengan bulan puasa.
Dan acara ditutup sekitar pukul 1 siang, yang juga mundur dari rencana awal sekitar pukul 12
