Car Free Day di Malang
Semalam di kota Malang memang waktu yang terbatas untuk bisa menikmati suasananya. Untungnya karena saya bisa melewati hari Minggu di sana, Minggu dengan program Car Free Day di depan musium Brawijaya.
Car free day di Malang sama tujuannya dengan di kota-kota lain yaitu mengajak orang-orang untuk tidak berkendaraan selama satu hari. Hemat energi dan bebas polusi.
Seperti semut dan gula, dimana ada orang berkumpul jajanan kaki lima pun ikut bermunculan. Bedanya dengan di kota Makassar, di Malang ini malah difasilitasi, dibuatkan tenda yang berjejer, seperti pasar pagi dadakan. Orang- orang dengan berbagai kesukaan pun datang.
Yang baru dan menarik yg saya temui adalah musang lover. “Dia masih liar kak, masih kecil belum kenal orang lain” kata seorang anak yang masih SMP menggendong musangnya. Dia kelihatan telaten memberi makan musang yg lucu itu.
Seekor burung hantu pun sempat bertengger di lengan saya hanya karena saya penasaran untuk berpotret bersama. Bapak yg memelihara ini meminta derma seikhlasnya untuk merelakan piaraannya difoto oleh orang-orang yang berminat
Pitbul pun gak mau ketinggalan, anjing yang sebelumnya cuma bisa saya kenali di acara Dog’s whisperer milik Cesar Milan ini jinak dan tenang tidak terpengaruh dengan keriuhan suasana
Terus terang saya baru tahu tentang skyrunner, enggrang modern yang lebih canggih dan lebih fleksibel, bisa untuk melompat juga. “Makanya sering-sering ikutan car free day di Jakarta dong,” kata teman seperjalanan saya.
Menyenangkan bisa berkunjung ke Malang, walaupun waktu terbatas tetap juga ada yang baru yang bisa diceritakan. Semoga akan ada kesempatan untuk bertemu dengan gunung Bromo berikutnya.
