Rasa keingintahuan saya tinggi. Selalu saja ingin belajar hal-hal yang baru. Sebenarnya salah satu alasan juga karena saya tidak ingin jadi orang yang melongo saat di sekeliling saya berbicara tentang topik tertentu.

Di CV saya memang tertera pengalaman lebih dari 10 tahun berada di department keuangan dan akunting. Namun terus terang kesarjanaan sastra saya memang sama sekali tidak ada hubungannya. Saya belajar dari pengalaman, merangkai satu demi satu kasus yang ada. Apalagi soal pajak, keberadaan konsultan di kantor dulu membuat saya tidak terlalu fokus ke bagian itu. Tetapi karena laporan keuangan tidak terlepas dari pajak akhirnya saya berniat menambah ilmu juga.

Saya selalu berpikir bahwa saya punya banyak waktu luang. Tinggal sendiri membuat saya harus merasa sibuk, supaya saya tidak hanya bengong di tempat tidur saja. Tawaran untuk mengambil kursus Brevet terpadu A dan B saya sambut dengan antusias.

Kursus yang ditawarkan dalam jangka waktu 3 bulan ini sepertinya memang tidak mungkin mewakili keseluruhan materi. Materi yang didapatkan pastinya tidak akan maksimal seperti didapatkan di bangku kuliah. Karena bisa menghemat waktu dan cepat makanya saya memutuskan untuk mengikuti kursus ini.

Hasilnya? Keinginan untuk belajar memang terpenuhi, namun pelaksanaanya sangat tidak maksimal. Waktu yang sebelumnya saya pikir banyak ternyata tidak. Kenyataannya saya harus beberapa kali tidak ikut pertemuan, karena bentrok dengan kegiatan yang lain. Belum lagi sudah hampir 2 bulan ini saya tidak lagi pernah ke gym untuk olahraga. Ujiannya? Jangan ditanya, sudah pasti saya keteteran dengan pengetahuan yang sangat terbatas.

Akhirnya saya kewalahan sendiri tetapi ini membuat saya belajar, bahwa menyadari bahwa mengolah keinginan itu sangat penting.  Walaupun ingin, kita harus mereview kemampuan kita. Daya yang kita miliki bagaimana, materi, non materi terutama waktu. Sepertinya memang saya harus lebih cerdas memilih metode yang pas untuk sesuatu yang saya inginkan. Harus penuh perhitungan, dan paham akan kemampuan saya sendiri.

Mungkin berikutnya saya akan memilih seminar singkat saja ditambah bertukar pikiran dengan teman-teman yang punya keahlian di bidangnya. Lahan aplikasi memang sudah terlanjur ada di sekitar saya, tidak mungkin lagi hanya belajar teori. Saya tidak akan berharap lulus dengan nilai bagus atau bersertifikasi seperti niat teman-teman sesama kursus. Mendapatkan pengajaran, sharing sudah cukup untuk saya.

Terimakasih untuk seorang teman yang berkat dia saya bisa mengikuti pelajaran ini, meskipun akhirnya saya mengecawakannya karena tidak maksimal. Semoga kebaikannya terbalaskan pada hal lain.. Amiinn
