Untuk sesuatu yang baru kita kadang diliputi keraguan, apakah saya bisa? Jika sesuatu terjadi apa yang harus saya lakukan?

Seorang teman yang sedang mencari pekerjaan, berkata kepada mamie, tolong yah mamie kalau ada info, kasih tau yah.
Kalimat itu simple sebenarnya, untuk memberi info mamie pikir semua orang bisa, tetapi sampai pada proses selanjutnya apakah kita “berani untuk mencoba?”

Mamie, apa saya bisa apply di posisi itu? – ini jawaban yang dilontarkan ketika mamie memberi info. Benarkan?
Rata-rata jika kita sudah dihadapkan pada pilihan yang sebelumnya kita cari-cari malah jadinya kehilangan keberanian.

Di Jakarta ini, walaupun dengan kesyukuran yang tiada tara terhadap kesempatan yg diberikan oleh Allah untuk hidup yang bagi sebagian orang terasa berat, mamie justru mendapat banyak pengalaman.
Tidak seperti di Makassar, yang semuanya serba “tahu”. Mau ke sana ke mari tidaklah sulit. Padahal kalau kita mau berpikir, pasti saat awal “mengenal” kota ini pasti ada proses. Hanya saja kita tidak menyadarinya.
Kita merasa tiba-tiba saja tahu. Dan hal itu yang membuat kita ragu untuk pergi ke tempat yang baru yang serba tidak tahu

Benar saja saat mamie harus sendiri memulai hidup di kota ini, yang mamie percaya hanya petunjuk Allah. Karena ketidak tahuan akan sekitar membuat mamie lebih yakin kepada Allah, bahwa Allah sudah mengatur semuanya.
Alhamdulillah, dengan asbab bantuan dari teman-teman, orang-orang yang baru mamie kenal, sedikit demi sedikit pengetahuan ini bertambah.

You never know unless you try
Dan setiap kesempatan akan berlalu begitu saja jika kita tidak mengambilnya. Prinsip mamie saat ini adalah jika saya tidak mencoba saya tidak akan tahu bahwa saya betul atau salah, berhasil atau tidak.
Hidup ini adalah kumpulan kesempatan, jika kita mengabaikannya karena ragu, jangan harap kita dapat hidup dengan ‘kaya’ pengalaman.

Satu hal saja yang mamie harapkan, semoga pengalaman ini justru mengantarkan mamie kepada keyakinan lebih terhadap Sang Pencipta, karena bagaimana pun keadaan itu memang sudah merupakan ketetapan dari Allah, tinggal kita menggunakan pendengaran, penglihatan dan hati untuk bisa memaknai hidup ini.
