Berdamai dengan Covid-19

Terlambat sebenarnya saya menuliskan ini, tetapi mending lambat dari pada tidak sama sekali bukan?. Sekarang ini sudah memasuki gelombang kedua pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia. Saya masih di Jakarta dan tidak bisa berkegiatan di luar rumah akibat banyaknya saudara-saudara kita yang terkena Covid-19 di Indonesia.

“Ada seratusan orang yang kena di kementrian bu, termasuk pak Direktur”, kata salah seorang kasubdit di salah satu kementrian yang terletak di jalan Gatot Subroto, Jakarta. Belum lagi seorang teman menghubungi. “Li, kamu punya oksigen? Adik saya di Jakarta kena covid dan saturasinya 90, dadanya sesak,” otomatis saya ikutan panik. Saya menghubungi kakak saya yang di Bekasi menanyakan soal tabung oksigen yang dipakai oleh almarhumah mama sewaktu sakit. Alhamdulilah masih ada, tetapi belum tahu apakah masih ada isi atau tidak. Nantilah pikirku. 

Panik? Iya pasti. Sama seperti paniknya saya waktu mendapat Surat Keterangan hasil swab PCR yang saya lakukan di bulan Pebruari beberapa bulan yang lalu. Dugaannya saya terkena saat perjalanan dari Jakarta ke Makassar saat itu. Kondisi pun lagi tidak dalam keadaan fit. Karena saya ingin pulang ke Makassar menemui Daeng Ipul yang juga datang ke Makassar dari Jayapura. Rupanya kangennya berbuah yang lain. Covid juga ikutan hadir. Beruntung hanya saya yang kena dan harus mengisolasi diri di Hotel Swiss-Bell di Makassar. Isolasi di hotel ini adalah program Wisata Covid yang dicanangkan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan sejak covid hadir di Indonesia. 10 hari saya menghabiskan waktu di hotel tanpa interaksi, seorang diri. Keluar kamar hotel hanya pada saat pagi yang cerah untuk berolah raga, jika hujan saya berada di dalam kamar hotel sepanjang hari.

Lalu apa yang saya dapatkan dari kebersamaan saya dengan covid ini? Beberapa catatan yang mungkin bisa menjadi bahan untuk berbagi.

1. Jangan Panik

Asli ini sikap yang paling utama. Harus realistis bahwa virus covid bisa masuk dalam tubuh semua manusia. Tergantung daya tahan tubuh dan banyaknya virus yang bertebaran di luaran. Keduanya bisa kok diidentifikasi. Contohnya kalau sudah merasa lemas, janganlah berkegiatan di luar rumah atau mengunjungi tempat publik dan bertemu dengan orang yang mungkin saja baru bertemu dengan orang lain. Kemudian untuk banyaknya virus covid di luaran bisa kita dapatkan melalui informasi berapa banyak yang terinfeksi. Apakah menanjak naik atau datar saja. 

2. Periksakan diri dengan Swab Antigen atau PCR

Jangan sampai keraguan melanda. Pemeriksaan penting untuk melakukan tindakan selanjutnya. Tapi benar juga kadang kita denial, tidak mau menerima kalau kita ini kemungkinan kena covid. Akhirnya menunda-nunda padahal gejala itu sudah ada. Begitu saya merasa tenggorokan gatal dan badan rasanya tidak nyaman, saya segera melakukan test PCR. Saya ingat waktu itu belum ada swab antigen, PCR pun butuh waktu untuk hasilnya, mana saat itu weekend pula, semua rumah sakit tidak melayani swab PCR. Alhamdullilah saya bisa test di mobil lab PCR yang dimiliki oleh Pemprov Sulsel. Malam Minggu swab hasilnya hari Minggu siang. Dan saya segera mengisolasi diri untuk menghindarkan orang lain di sekitar saya terkena.

3. Lakukan Pengobatan

Saya mengumumkan keadaan saya melalui media sosial. Tujuannya adalah untuk menyampaikan ke teman-teman yang beberapa hari sebelumnya bertemu dengan saya. Supaya dapat memeriksakan dirinya tetapi saya tetap berharap semua baik-baik saja. Dan melalui media sosial juga, semua teman-teman sudah menjadi seperti dokter atau ahli covid. Semua resep yang membingungkan saya terima. Dengan rasa kesyukuran dalam hati bahwa mereka tetap memperhatikan saya. Tetapi bagi saya pengobatan yang terpercaya adalah pengobatan yang dilakukan oleh tim medis yang telah berpengalaman menangani penyakit ini. Di hotel tempat isolasi tim medis juga disiapkan. Setiap sore mereka datang memeriksa keadaan masing-masing orang yang sedang diisolasi. Antibiotik, Antivirus, obat batuk dan vitamin lengkap. Ini adalah obat yang saya dapatkan dari tim medis. Mungkin orang lain resepnya juga berbeda, tergantung gejala yang ditimbulkan oleh penyakit ini. Jadi sebaiknya jika memang terkonfirmasi positif covid sebaiknya berkonsultasi dengan dokter. Minum yang hangat dan ramuan tradisional penting juga untuk mempercepat penyembuhan.

4. Lakukan olah napas dan berkegiatan agar tidak bosan

Beruntung wifi tetap ada. Selain masih bisa bekerja walaupun tidak maksimal, sisanya digunakan tidur-tiduran di kasur sambil nonton Netflix. 10 seasons serial Friends yang sebenarnya sudah saya tonton, akhirnya saya tonton lagi. Satu-satunya serial komedi situasi yang benar-benar bisa menghibur saya. Matras yoga juga kadang saya gunakan tetapi tidak maksimal. Satu kekurangan saat itu adalah kamar yang saya tempati tidak memiliki perputaran udara. Mungkin ini perlu jadi pertimbangan kalau teman-teman isoman. Sangat penting berinteraksi dengan udara yang segar. Untungnya masih diperkenankan setiap pagi ke lapangan dan bisa menghirup udara pantai sepuasnya. 

5. Masa hidup virus covid

Dengan beredarnya keputusan dari Kemenkes berkenaan dengan aturan isolasi mandiri. Saya melakukan isolasi sampai 10 hari saja. Di mana 10 hari dianggap virus tersebut sudah mati. Tidak lagi berada dalam tubuh. Apalagi saya tidak memiliki gejala yang berat. Yang masih memiliki gejala seperti batuk atau sesak, masih harus melalui empat hari lagi. Tidak akan dilakukan test PCR lagi, karena secara medis memang terbukti bahwa setelah 10 hingga 14 hari, virus tersebut tidak lagi berpotensi menyebar alias sudah mati.

6. Adaptasi post covid

Mungkin tidak semua orang merasakan ini. Tetapi bagi saya penurunan stamina setelah covid itu terasa. Saya merasa cepat lelah, malas berbicara dan tidak bersemangat. Sebulan pertama setelah saya isolasi mandiri gejala ini terasa. Untuk meyakinkan bahwa covid tidak meninggalkan apa-apa di tubuh saya, saya melakukan X-Ray Photo untuk Thorax PA (CR) yang gunanya untuk mengecek apakah paru-paru saya baik-baik aja. Alhamdullilah tidak ada tanda tanda yang mengkhawatirkan. Saya mulai melakukan olah raga walaupun tidak berat, minum vitamin dan madu jadi rutin. Dan yang pasti berusaha untuk tetap bahagia sehingga tubuh bisa menjadi sehat.

7. Antibodi

Sebulan setelah terkena covid saya ke laboratorium untuk mengecek secara kuantitatif apakah saya memiliki antibodi yang terbentuk secara alami akibat perlawanan tubuh terhadap virus covid. Alhamdulilah nilainya 134, nilai yang sebenarnya dianjurkan untuk dapat mendonorkan darah kepada saudara-saudara yang memerlukan antibodi dalam bertarung melawan covid. Tetapi sayangnya saya tidak muda lagi. Sebagai wanita dan sudah melahirkan sudah tidak masuk dalam kategori pendonor. Apalagi HB darah saya juga rendah. Di bulan Mei yang lalu saya kembali memeriksa antibodi di lab rumah sakit di Bekasi. Ternyata nilainya > 250. Mungkin saya harus menunggu hingga empat bulan kemudian untuk vaksin jika antibodi tersebut sudah menurun.

7. Protokol Kesehatan dan Hidup Sehat

Dengan antibodi demikian apakah saya santai? Tidak demikian. Saya semakin waspada dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Minum suplemen untuk meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh, dan selalu berusaha untuk merasa bahagia. Antibodi tidak menjamin 100%. Dan jika pun menjamin untuk keselamatan diri bisa saja kita tetap menjadi pembawa virus bagi orang lain. Lagi pula mending vaksin deh daripada divaksin sendiri oleh virusnya. Rasa tidak nyaman saat bernapas, batuknya bukan seperti batuk biasa, tidur pun tidak nyenyak selama si virus masih hidup bersama kita. Jadi tetaplah setia dengan menjaga imun, menggunakan masker dan mencuci tangan. Menghindari kerumunan dan jika bertemu tetap menjaga jarak. Ini adalah cara yang terbaik dilakukan untuk saat ini.

8. Berserah Diri

Ini mungkin pengalaman spiritual saya saja. Selama sakit saya sudah merasa bahwa kemungkinan terburuk adalah kembali ke Sang Khalik, pemilik roh ini. Tingkat kepasrahan saya sudah tinggi, alias bersiap dengan kondisi yang tidak kita pahami karena virus ini menumpang hidup di diri kita. Tetapi saya merasakan bahwa kepasrahan ini membuat saya lebih tenang dan bisa melalui setiap hari dengan menerima setiap keadaan yang dirasakan. 

Semoga pandemi ini cepat berakhir dan masing-masing kita mendapatkan pelajaran berharga. Semoga yang sedang sakit segera disembuhkan dan yang tidak sakit tetap menjaga diri dan menjaga orang lain untuk tidak ikutan sakit.
