Berburu Benang Rajut di Pasar Asemka

Niatan ini sudah ada sejak beberapa minggu lalu. Tetapi karena waktu yang terbatas akhirnya baru hari Sabtu kemarin saya bisa mengunjungi pasar Asemka.
Pasar Asemka sangat terkenal dengan berbagai macam pernik-pernik dan murah. Dengar-dengar yang jualan di kaki lima atau toko-toko lain pada mengambil barang dari pasar Asemka ini.
Karena tidak mengetahui sebelumnya dan saya pergi sendirian, untuk itu saya terbiasa menggunakan google map dulu. Rupanya bisa ditempuh dengan Trans Jakarta dan Commuter Line. Tempatnya memang dekat dengan Stasiun Kota dan Halte Kota Trans Jakarta. Tetapi karena saya lebih suka menjadi penumpang Commuter Line, dengan menumpang mobil angkutan kota jurusan Karet-Kampung Melayu (44) dari arah Mall Ambasador saya cukup membayar Rp. 3.000,- untuk bisa sampai ke stasiun Tebet.
Dengan menggunakan e-money, uang elektrik yang dikeluarkan oleh Bank Mandiri, siang yang lumayan terik itu menjadi momen saya untuk bertemu pertama kali dengan pasar Asemka.
Letaknya dibawah jalan layang di bagian utara stasiun. Lumayan juga jalan kakinya mungkin sekitar 500 meter untuk bisa mencapai pusat pasar Asemka. Sebenarnya ada ojek sepeda tetapi sepertinya ketakutan saya lebih besar jika mengendarai itu. Sebelum mencapai pasar paginya, kita sudah disuguhkan dengan jajanan kaki lima. Saya yakin orang yang buru-buru berbelanja bisa saja menyesal jika tiba di pusat pasar. Harga di sana benar-benar murah tetapi memang harus membeli grosiran atau partai.
Niatan awal mencari benang, rupanya tidak semudah yang saya pikirkan. Entah banyak orang baru yang tidak mau peduli atau memang orang-orang sangat sibuk dengan urusannya sendiri atau bahkan karena pasar yang terlalu besar. Mereka tidak bisa memberikan petunjuk jelas di bagian mana penjual benang rajut yang ada di pasar itu.
Matahari sudah berasa tepat berada di atas kepala. Saya sudah hampir menyerah. Apalagi akhir-akhir ini memang udara terasa sangat panas. Saya akhirnya berhenti di emperan salah satu toko dan mulai mencari informasi di internet lagi. Akhirnya saya mendapatkan alamat yang lengkap

Sadis, dengan alamat lengkap pun masih banyak yang tidak bisa memberikan informasi yang tepat. Beruntunglah saya berjodoh. Saya akhirnya bisa menemukan toko yang dimaksud. Akhirnya saya membeli benang dengan budget Rp.200.000,- Memang sengaja saya membawa uang terbatas, kadang bisa kalap jika terpukau dengan warna-warni benang dan bayangan-banyangan bisa jadi apa benang itu.
