Biasanya saya tidak pernah lupa untuk memberi salam jika saya tiba di tempat baru. Sudah dari kecil saya diajarkan oleh nenek. Walaupun agak mistis gaya ceritanya tetapi saya mengarahkan ke pemikiran rasional. Setiap tempat baru yang belum kita kenali sudah pasti suasana yang baik dan buruk belum kita pahami juga. Oleh karena itu tingkat kehati-hatian, atau kesadaran harus lebih tinggi.

Kemarin, saat saya di Penang, saya akhirnya membawa pulang cindera mata, memar dan bengkak di pergelangan kaki akibat terjatuh dari trotoar.
Kami memang berangkat pagi, walaupun jam di pergelangan menunjukkan pukul 7 tetapi langit masih gelap. Saya berjalan dengan cepat karena mengikuti kakak saya yang gak bisa berjalan santai. Pikiran saya terganggu dengan pertanyaan-pertanyaan mengenai arah ke rumah sakit yang kami tuju.
Semalam ketika kami datang memang sudah gelap, dan kami harus mengingat2 arah yang ditunjukkan oleh supir taksi semalam.

Karena saya membawa iPad, saya berusaha melihat peta sambil berjalan dengan cepat. Inilah yang menurut saya tidak sadar, tidak salam, tidak istighfar.

Trotoar yang saya pikir masih berlanjut rupanya terputus dan kaki kanan saya tidak siap berpijak. Alhasil saya terjatuh dengan manisnya. Terduduk sekitar 5 menitan. Kakak saya sudah menyuruh langsung bangun. Tetapi saya tidak mengikuti perintahnya. Disamping sakitnya yang tak tertahankan, saya tidak mau membuat kakiku bertambah cederanya. Setelah mengatur napas, berkonsentrasi sedikit ke rasa sakit yg berangsur mereda, akhirnya saya pun berdiri.

Saat itulah saya sadar, saya lupa istighfar, saya lupa beri salam dan saya seperti orang linglung ketika berjalan. Pikiran bercabang pastilah tidak fokus. Apa boleh buat. Pelajaran harus saya bawa pulang lagi. Untung saya terbantu dengan angkle support yang saya beli di apotik. Alhamdulillah sakitnya sudah mulai berkurang, dan semoga tidak terulang lagi, di mana pun dan dalam keadaan apa pun

PS. Ada juga sih yang bilang, saya lagi dalam tahun yang kurang cocok menurut perhitungan penanggalan chinese ^^, apapun itu saya berserah kepada Allah saja 🙂
