Banjir untuk Introspeksi
Awal tahun ini benar-benar dikejutkan oleh musibah banjir yang melanda makassar. Menurut info banjir ini terparah dalam 15 tahun. Yah mungkin memang demikian, karena seingat saya sekitar tahun 1998, saat saya masih bekerja di pabrik di daerah KIMA boss saya yang orang Jepang itu cuma menggambarakan banjir dengan mengatakan Makassar full of aqua 🙂
Mungkin ada hubungannya dengan penanggalan chinese yang menurut kabarnya penanggalan tersebut memang dibuat berdasarkan pengetahuan tentang alam? Naga air dan menyusul ular air. Yang pasti curah hujan yang katanya 3x lebih besar dari yang normal
Di Makassar memang beberapa tahun terkahir ini ‘aman’ dari keluhan banjir, paling juga mungkin dianggap genangan di beberapa tempat tertentu yang dianggap datarannya agak rendah. Tetapi pembukaan tahun ini sangat berbeda. Teman-teman yang tinggal di Bumi Tamalanrea Permai blok AF akhirnya harus mengungsi, beruntung yang sudah merenovasi rumahnya dan punya lantai 2 sehingga barang-barang bisa dipindahkan ke lantai atas.
Sebelumnya saya juga memiliki rumah di sana hasil kesepakatan dengan teman-teman sesama kantor dulu, tetapi akhir tahun lalu sudah saya pindah tangankan. Kebayang kelabakannya saya jika rumah tersebut masih harus saya pikirkan sementara saya sudah berada di Jakarta.
Drainase yang buruk dan curah hujan yang tinggi. Kata @cipukun ini sih alasan purba, sejak jaman dahulu kala sudah akan disebut-sebut jika terjadi banjir apalagi jika sudah banyak yang merugi.
Tapi intinya harus banyak-banyak yang introspeksi, bukan cuma pemerintah, masyarakat pun yang akhirnya jadi korban yang paling merasakan tetap harus melihat kembali, mengapa ini bisa terjadi dan apa yang harus diperbaiki agar tidak terjadi lagi
Sikap kita terhadap alam yang kadang tak ramah wajarlah jika dibalas oleh alam juga.
Mungkin apa yang disajikan oleh para calon gubernur itu bukan lagi mengenai hal-hal yang di awang-awang, sudah saatnya melihat secara nyata apa apa yang menyebabkan masyarakat merugi diakibatkan banjir ini. Yah kecuali jika baliho-balihonya bisa digunakan untuk menghalau banjir, mungkin itu lebih berguna
