Malaysia Tour (1) ~ Unexpected Moments

Walaupun sudah rada basi, saya tetap akan menuliskan jejak perjalanan kami. saya tidak ingin kenangan ini hilang begitu saja tanpa kesan yang bisa saya bagikan

Tulisan ini harusnya diposting saat segar-segarnya pulang dari jalan bareng bersama teman-teman kantor, tetapi entah kenapa hampir sebulan ini keinginan menulis ini rasanya susah sekali untuk diajak disiplin. Tapi mau gak mau tetap harus menulis, agar momentnya bisa berjejak di blog saya ini.

Tanggal 15 Juni yang lalu, kami sudah bersiap-siap dengan ransel masing-masing. Perjalanan si bolang yang akan berpetualang ke negeri jiran. Bahagia rasanya saat itu karena mendapat kesempatan pergi bersama rekan sekantor dan dengan restu para pimpinan. Semuanya telah disiapkan, tiket pp dengan Tiger Airways, penginapan di apartemen yang di booking melalui internet, itinerary yang lengkap hingga hari terakhir, perasaan hari itu kami tidak bekerja maksimal, pikiran sudah menuju ke negeri upin-ipin tersebut.

Begin with error

Bagaimana tidak, kami memang sudah dapat izin dari boss-boss di kantor, tapi kami juga punya Big boss, the owner yang berasal dari negeri pecahan Rusia. Kami memang jarang berinteraksi dengan beliau secara beliau itu the untouchable menurutku. Memang kalau sudah takdir tak ada yang menolak. Bisa-bisanya dari 4 lift yang ada yang bergerak naik turun melayani 20 lantai di saat yang tepat kami memencet lift untuk turun, pintu pun terbuka. Bigboss dengan antengnya melihat kami berempat. Kami pun masuk dengan gaya petualang karbitan, dan tepat ketika pintu lift tertutup kami pun terjebak dengan suasana yang kikuk. “Where are you going?“, si Big boss memecahkan keheningan, Dinda yang paling senior di antara kita menjawab “Malaysia, pak,” si Bigboss tersenyum.. “Can yah Pak?“. Ini pasti merupakan pertanyaan basa basi karena grogi. Gak mungkin si boss ngomong can not, wong kita saja sudah kelihatan pantang mundur. Ah ini semua memang gara-gara kami kagok, kepergok. Seharusnya kita menyampaikan ucapan selamat atas kelahiran anak pertama beliau tapi yah sudahlah itu takdir, error yang membuka perjalanan kami, sangat menggelikan.

What a Place

Kekawatiran tentang “kesialan” di awal perjalanan itu tak terbukti. Begitu kami tiba di Malaysia, kami segera menuju ke apartemen yang kami booking melalui internet ย sepertinya ini referensi bagus juga untuk teman-teman yang mau jalan-jalan ke luar negeri. Andy, pemilik apartemen di menara seputih sangat helpful dan friendly.ย Dia bahkan tidak segan-segan mengantar kami bersama istri dan ibu mertuanya ke stasiun karena malam itu kita ngotot tetap harus ke Twin Tower. Sama sekali tidak ada kesan yang nyaman begitu melihat bangunan menara itu, bangunannya seperti bahan bangunan pabrik. Tetapi begitu kami masuk ke apartement milik Andy, kesan itu berubah 180 derajat. Tempat yangย cozy dengan 3 kamar tidur, segala fasilitas ada termasuk wifi,ย mantap bukan?

Twin Tower

Ke negeri jiran tanpa ke Twin Tower sepertinya belum afdol. Karena kami cuma berencana untuk menginap selama 2 malam saja semua skedul kami padatkan. Malam hari setelah menikmati nasi briyani, ย kami berkunjung ke menara kembar tersebut dengan menggunakan MRT. Transportasi yang menurut Fenty masih lebih keren naik commutter line di Jakarta, ย lebih lega dan bersih? entahlah mungkin Fenty memang cinta produk dalam negeri walaupun itu sebenarnya kereta daur ulang dari Jepang. Semangat eksplorasi tempat baru memang menggebu-gebu diabadikan dengan foto sana sini.

Biar afdol ๐Ÿ™‚

Jam 11 malam MRT tidak beroperasi lagi, kami akhirnya memutuskan untuk naik taksi. Taksi di Malaysia ada 2 macam, sedan dan APV. Karena kami berenam jadi kami memilih taksi APV. Sebuah APV biru terparkir di sekitar parkiran Twin Tower membuat kami mengarah ke sana. Dari luar nampak biasa tetapi begitu kami naik sepertinya bukan kendaraan biasa. Pak supirnya menyapa kami dengan menggunakan wireless microphone. “Silahkan naik“, sapanya. Mobil ini penuh dengan lampu lampu yang berwarna warni seperti kelab malam ditambah dengan musik yang diputarnya tepat sesaat setelah kami jalan. Karaoke! dua layar kecil menampakkan video karaoke, dangdut pula. Saya kenal lagunya tetapi sepertinya dinyanyikan oleh penyanyi Malaysia. Seru! Kami jadinya menyanyi tak karuan, entahlah apa yang dipikirkan orang yang berkendara lalu lalang di samping kami. Yang pasti kami surprisedย dan menikmati malam itu sebagai malam tak biasa.

Tiba di apartement milik Andy, kami tak langsung tidur. Masihย excited dengan kejadian-kejadian yang tak terduga tetapi menyenangkan ๐Ÿ™‚
