I La Galigo, kehilangan aura mistis
Mungkin memang sudah dari awal mamie selalu berpikir, kalau jodoh pasti tak lari kemana.
Sebelumnya memang terdengar kasak-kusuk bahwa tiket untuk pertunjunkan ini susah diperoleh, akibat informasi yang tidak jelas
Tetapi dengan tidak sengaja mamie membaca twit dari salah seorang teman dan akhirnya memberi petunjuk untuk bisa memperoleh tiket.
Alhamdulillah bill pembayaran tiket sudah ditangan tinggal menunggu hari H sehingga bisa ditukar dengan tiket.
Sore hari yang hujan sempat membuat kuatir, performance ini diadakan di area terbuka dalam area benteng Fort Rotterdam, tetapi yah percaya gak percaya, sepertinya pawang hujan diminta untuk bekerja memindahkan hujan yg seharusnya turun di tepi pantai ini *mungkin* 😀
Menunggu teman yang menitip tiket juga mamie akhirnya menghabiskan waktu untuk melihat-lihat peninggalan yang berhubungan dengan I La Galilgo ini. Walaupun sudah disampaikan tidak boleh membawa kamera, ada saja orang-orang yang dengan asik memotret. Sebenarnya keinginan itu juga ada dalam diri, ingin mengabadikan, tetapi entah mengapa mamie percaya bahwa peninggalan-peninggalan tersebut akan tergerus cahayanya jika diabadikan, entahlah
Ada satu insiden kecil saat acara, mungkin tidak diduga sama sekali, panggung yang dibuat untuk penonton ada satu bagian yang rubuh mungkin karena overload, beruntung tidak ada yang terluka, tetapi sempat membuat heboh.
Performance secara keseluruhan memukau, permainan lighting, soundsystem, gerak dan alat2 bantu visualisasi membuat kita larut dalam cerita. Beruntung sinopsisnya dibagikan sehingga kita dapat mengikuti alur dari cerita ini.
Semua scene diramu dengan apik, dan membuat kita enggan mengalihkan perhatian kita dari panggung
Scene yang paling memukau adalah yang menggambarkan percintaan, ditampilkan dalam bayang sedemikian rupa sehingga tergambar jelas keadaannya.
Tapi, dari keseluruhan hal-hal yang mamie tangkap dengan panca indera, ada ‘soul’ yang gak berasa. Terus terang mamie mengharapkan aura yang mendebarkan saat menyaksikan aktualisasi epos ini. Suasana mistis tidak terasa, semuanya memang murni pementasan theatre, yah wajar saja karena yang menyajikan tidak ada keterikatan bathin, semaksimal apapun Robert Wilson mendalami cerita ini. Musik yang disajikan tidak murni lagi, komposisi musik tradisional sudah diarransemen dengan alat musik lain. Menurutku akan lebih membuat ‘merinding’ jika dengan iringan sinrilik dan pagandrang saja.
Ah.. Terus terang saya mendambakan originalitas dari cerita I La Galigo ini, pasti akan ‘bernyawa’ dan membuat kita larut dalam alur
